INTEGRATED Ph.D (MSc.+Ph.D) PROGRAMME
An opportunity for Graduates to do PhD (BSc., B.Tech., Medical and Paramedical degree)
Applications are invited for admission
to the Integrated Interdisciplinary Ph.D Programme offered by the
Institute for Intensive Research in Basic Sciences (IIRBS), Mahatma
Gandhi University for the academic year 2012.
Closing date for the submission of application: 17th September 2012
Area of Research: Interdisciplinary areas covering Sciences, Pharmaceutical- medicinal and Engineering.
Eligibility : Candidates with Bachelor’s degree (BSc., B.Tech., Medical, Paramedical, Agricultural) with minimum of 60% marks. The candidate should have done mathematics either in the +2 level or bachelors level as one of the subjects.
Duration of the course: 5 years
Selection Procedure : The selection is based on objective cum-comprehensive test followed by a research aptitude evaluation camp.
Fellowship : An amount of Rs.6000/ month for the first two years and then Rs.10, 000/ month from the third year onwards (or an amount equal to CSIR-UGC fellowship for research scholars).
